Project Summary:

The project aims to restore and revitalize school infrastructure affected by the 2020 Assam floods, focusing on the provision of child-friendly Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) facilities. It seeks to rebuild and retrofit damaged infrastructure in 25 schools across Jorhat and Golaghat districts. Through WASH improvements, behavior change communication, and school management strengthening, the project intends to improve learning environments for children, support health and safety, and ensure long-term sustainability. The initiative directly benefits students, teachers, parents, and School Management Committees, ultimately enhancing resilience in flood-prone regions.
